Description

**** AVAILABLE from 2/1/16 - 8/1/16 **** This bright, spacious, sunny, furnished loft apatment has high ceilings and an open living plan with a fully updated kitchen, right in the heart of bustling Prospect Heights. TONS of light comes in through the huge windows and there are some sheers and blackout curtains to ensure nighttime darkness. It's on the 3rd floor (with an elevator) and has hardwood floors throughout, central A/C and heat, DISHWASHER, in-unit WASHER/DRYER, professional stove, a huge TUB, a nice shower, and great neighbors. You have access to TWO roof decks, one of which has some nice furniture and hangout space, both of which have awesome views, including a great vantage of the 4th of July fireworks all around the city. The internet is strong and fast and the building is pretty quiet during the day. Great place to get some work done. LOCATION: The apartment is in Prospect Heights, about 6 blocks from the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Gardens, and another few to Grand Army Plaza (farmer's market!!) and Prospect Park. On the corner is a great bar and excellent Japanese place and two strong coffee shops, and nearby are tons more bars (and Japanese places and coffee shops and Mexican restaurants and Italian and Korean and pizza places and Thai places), as well as a really rad Caribbean community with some of the best jerk and roti in the city. Also a mere 3 blocks from the legendary Tom's Restaurant. If you want to leave Washington (not that you'd need to), you're directly adjacent to Vanderbilt, Classon, and Franklin, all bustling in their own right, and directly south of Clinton Hill / Fort Greene. Barclays Center is in easy walking distance for the Nets or the Stones or what have you, as is Park Slope and even, a bit further, downtown Brooklyn. TRANSPORTATION: The place is: * 7 blocks from the C at Clinton-Washington * 5 blocks from the B, Q at 7th Ave * 7 blocks from the 2, 3 at Grand Army Plaza (or Brooklyn Museum) * 4 blocks from the S at Park Place $3,200 rent includes ALL utilities and WIFI. Small pets are probably OK (we have a dog but we'd have to check with the landlord about yours).^^^
