About Fanny Montalvo-Silano

Fanny Montalvo has been a Licensed Real Estate professional since 2005. As a LLC Company RE Broker for Keller Williams NYC and a prior 20+ years Executive Search Recruiter - Fanny's business has always been focused on authentically delivering great service to everyone she has worked on behalf of and those she has managed.

Fanny was born and raised in what many refer to as ‘The Greatest City in The World’ - New York City! Shortly after completing her education at Baruch College, CUNY with a concentration in Political Science, a career encompassing 20+ years of an exceptional reputation divided equally between serving as a Senior Executive Search Recruiter and subsequently as President/CEO, and owner of her own Executive Search firm began. 

As a buyer and seller herself of homes and retail businesses located in New Jersey and Florida, a natural progression into a successful career in Real Estate began shortly following the loss of long standing client friends whose offices were located in the World Trade Center on September 11th and the result of the subsequent close of her Executive Search firm. 

Fanny's real estate career beginning in 2005, has encompassed being a Sales Manager, Senior Vice President of Sales, a Managing Director of Sales and since 2015- the Keller Williams NYC Real Estate Broker/Broker of Record and Chief Compliance Officer to over 500 Keller Williams NYC agents.

Her over two decades of dedication to knowing the laws, guidelines and operating practices in real estate have enabled her to serve on The Residential Ethics Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) 2023-2025 and become a 2018- Present NYS DOS Certified Instructor- which allows her to keep with her mantra of the importance of the industry's practitioners 'always learning' and has brought a passionate teaching style to create classes such as Fair Housing, Agency Law and Ethics to be both enjoyable and educational to the thousands of Real Estate professionals who have taken them for CE requirement fulfillment in Real Estate licensure renewal.  

Fanny has been featured or quoted in various real estate articles within: The NY Times, Crain's, The Mann Report, Broker's Weekly, Brick Underground, and The Real Deal Magazine. She is a former Executive Board Member of The Manhattan Association of REALTORS® (MANAR), and it’s PAG (Presidential Advisory Group) on Cultural & Age Diversity, The Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS® (HGAR), The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), The New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR).

She is trilingual; fluent in Spanish and Italian and an avid and yearly traveler to various cities within Italy, Spain, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Greece, Portugal where she has mastered her cooking and wine-pairing skills.

As a Keller Williams NYC Real Estate Broker/ Broker of Record and Chief Compliance Officer, Fanny oversees the vicarious supervision of all agents, in-house training of Fair Housing, Agency Law, the required mandates of licensees, consumer issues and complaints, DOS-licensing issues, consumer questions and complaints, REBNY membership guidelines, agreements, compliance, all brokerage and all agreement countersignature and Co brokerage issues and complaints and their resolve. With her two decades plus experience, she is able to employ the skills she is extremely knowledgeable at, versed in, and passionate about: the managing of, caring for, and the success making of real estate agents, the recruiting of great talent, the training of an industry and its complexities, and the running of an ethical and compliant business that is committed to adhering to the guidelines of The New York State Fair Housing Regulations.
