We were referred to Victoria and found her to be a professional who excelled at following up.     “Purchasing our first apartment in Manhattan was a decision that was both exciting and a little nerve wracking. My husband and I had purchased two homes in New Jersey, but had no idea how to navigate the NYC real estate market. Fortunately, when we made the decision to purchase a pied a terre in NYC, we met Victoria Woolley Parry and trusted her immediately to look out for our best interests. We both have insanely busy work schedules and needed an agent who would do all the heavy lifting for us. In my initial meeting with Victoria, she provided me with a clear understanding of what the purchase process would be like and gave me comprehensive printed materials to take home to my husband for his review. She also gave us some idea of what the current real estate environment was in the city, which really helped us with our expectations of what we could afford. Victoria initiated a search for a place that fit the parameters we had set forth for location, price, size, etc. This cannot be understated – she never wasted our time showing us a place that did not fit with what we told her we wanted. Victoria set up an efficient viewing schedule that fit with our busy work schedules and in a matter of weeks we found the perfect place in an Upper East Side cooperative building. We put in our offer immediately after viewing the apartment and it was accepted within 24 hours. Then the real fun began! We could not have gotten through the process of completing the board package without Victoria’s help. She is incredibly detail oriented and found and corrected accidental inconsistencies in our package. No one can prepare you for this process, but Victoria made sure that our board package was flawless and we sailed right through the board interview, too, thanks to her tips on what to say and what not to say. Victoria looked out for our best interests throughout the process, including making sure we hired a NYC real estate attorney who knew the coop process so that there would be no issues with our closing. And she appears to be available 24 hours a day – she responds almost immediately to every phone call, text message and email! Our relationship has continued even since we settled into our pied a terre, conveniently located just a few blocks from her home. We enjoy her “monthly mixer” get-togethers and one recent snowy evening, she and I even took in a movie together. I’ve made a new friend in the process of buying an apartment in NYC. ”
