Get Your Tickets for the 2nd Annual “Brews, Bites and Wines Charity Tasting” on April 16

Do you love sweets? Snacks? Beer and wine?

Would you like to enjoy all of the above while helping to transform the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk youth who might just become the next generation of amazing chefs and restauranteurs?

You can do this at The Promise Society’s Second Annual Brews, Bites and Wines Charity Tasting on Saturday, April 16, from 3-7 p.m. Join this event filled with sweet bites and desserts from local artisan bakers and sweet makers, craft beers from local breweries and delicious samples of wine. As a collaboration with the Queens International Night Market, some of the treat vendors will also be featured at their upcoming night market. VIP bracelets are available for access to liquor samples. At the door, general tasting tickets will be $60, so save money and get your tickets in advance.

There will be more than 25 vendors bring their treats for tasting. There will be custom-made special bites from C-CAP alumns Luis Adorno, Sous Chef of Koi-Bryant Park, and Paige Nebrig, Executive Sous Chef of Bouchon Bakery.

This event will be held at Grind, 419 Park Avenue South 2nd Floor, New York.

In keeping with its commitment to education and social causes, The Promise Society is proud to host this event to raise funds and awareness for the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) (http://www.ccapinc.org/).

C-CAP is a curriculum enrichment program linking public high school culinary teachers and their students to the food service industry. Their materials and services help prepare students for college and careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Based in New York City, C-CAP’s recipe for success includes teacher training, product donations, cooking competitions, college advising, college 101, scholarships, job training, internships and lifetime career guidance.

Careers through Culinary Arts Program’s mission is to promote and provide career opportunities in the foodservice industry for underserved youth through culinary arts education and employment.

This event is 21+. All guests must arrive before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., access will be limited and is not guaranteed. Limited tickets may be available on the day of the event but will be priced at $60 for a General Tasting ticket. Those with pre-paid General Tasting tickets can still purchase the VIP Add-on on the day of the event.
