A number of celebrity real estate transactions have recently taken place throughout the city. From purchases to sales to putting properties on the market, here is a look at some of the most recent celebrity real estate news in New York.

Kathryn Bigelow Lists Tribeca Condo for $2.895 Million

Less than a year after Kathryn Bigelow purchased a two-bedroom, two-bathroom Tribeca condo, the Zero Dark Thirty director has placed the home on the market. Featuring 1,665-square-feet of living space, the home boasts Hi Def Bang & Olufsen Surround Audio wiring, LED Lighting systems and motorized shades. Other fetures include a marble countertop, Macassar Shinnoki cabinets, Viking and Sub Zero appliances and a small balcony off of the master bedroom. The building elevator opens into the third floor apartment and onto the kitchen.

When Bigelow purchased the home in March 2015, she reportedly paid $3.03 million. She has now placed the home on the market for $2.895 million.

Keith McNally’s West Village Townhouse Available for Purchase

Restaurateur Keith McNally has been intermittently trying for years to sell his five-bedroom West 11th Street townhouse. After renting the property for a reported $19,000 per month, McNally put the home back on the market in February for $13.995 million. After failing to sell, he took the home back off the market in July before recently putting it back on again with an asking price of $14 million and with a rental price of $32,500 per month.

Features of the five-bedroom home include reclaimed oak floors, wood-burning fireplaces, exposed timber beams and a kitchen with a farmhouse sink, copper counters and a commercial grade range. The home also boasts a walk-in wine cellar.

Novak Djokovic Purchases Two Condos in Soho Tower

Tennis sensation Novak Djokovic has reportedly purchased two two-bedroom condos at Renzo Piano’s 565 Broome Soho Tower, with the condos reportedly costing approximately $5.5 million each. While both apartments are located on the upper floors of the 30-story development, they are not side-by-side units. Some of the condo features include floor-to-ceiling windows, 10-foot-tall ceilings, a private elevator entrance and a number of pricey fixtures.

Sales at the 115-unit condo building started in September of last year, though construction is not expected to be done before 2018.

Don Lemon Sells Harlem Condo for Almost $1 Million

CNN news anchor Don Lemon has been gradually selling off his condos located at a Harlem building on Frederick Douglas Boulevard, where he once owned three apartments spread out over two floors. Most recently, Lemon has sold apartment 11A, which is an 859-square-foot one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit. The unit, which sold for $969,000, features Mile, SubZero and Wolf appliances. Lemon reportedly purchased the condo in 2014 for $867,780.

Lemon is still the owner of the neighboring 11B apartment, which offers 1,417-square-feet of living space. He purchased the three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath unit for a little less than $1.5 million in 2013. He also previously owned the 679-square-foot apartment 6D, which boasts one bedroom and one bathroom. The apartment was sold in 2014 for $710,000, which was $211,000 over the asking price.
