Jeffrey Sellers Converting Eight-Unit Apartment into a Massive Home

Jeffery Sellers, who is the producer of the hit Broadway play “Hamilton,” has purchased an eight-unit apartment building in the Upper West Side. Seller purchased the building in March for $11 million, at which time it was presumed he would simply rent out the apartments. According to recent reports, however, the Tony-Award-winning producer plans to convert the building into a single-family home offering a massive 8,772-square-feet of space. The conversion, which reportedly includes plans to add an additional story and a rooftop terrace, will cost an estimated $500,000 to complete.

Adam Levine Sells Spacious Soho Loft

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and his Victoria’s Secret model wife Behati Prinsloo have listed their Soho loft on the market. With just one large bedroom, the apartment is not the best setting for a family, with the celebrity couple having welcomed their first child in September. The couple purchased the Greene Street loft in August 2014 for $4.45 million, after which they removed a second and third bedroom in order to create a more open living area. The couple first listed the 2,800-square-foot loft on the market in April for $5.5 million. Shoe designer Nick Lucio, who is the co-founder of shoe brand Dolce Vita, recently purchased the home for $5.4 million.

Cindy Crawford to Join Clooneys in Aby Rosen’s Midtown Tower

George and Amal Clooney recently purchased a condo at Norman Foster and Aby Rosen’s luxury Midtown condo at One Hundred East Fifty Third. According to recent reports, Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber will soon be added to the building’s list of celebrity residents. Clooney and Gerber, who used to own twin villas in Mexico, are long-time friends. As such, Crawford and Gerber have purchased a condo that is identical to the Clooney condo and located one floor up.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Purchases Historic Park Slope Townhouse

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have purchased a historic Park Slope townhouse for $6 million in late 2015, but the celebrity couple has only recently moved into the place. After undergoing months of renovations, the six-bedroom, limestone-clad home boasts period details such as stained glass, intricate molding, decorative mantels, a wood-burning fireplace and a skylight.

Cynthia Nixon Purchases East Village Co-Op

Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon and wife Christine Marinono have purchased a two-bedroom apartment in the East Village for $1.49 million. Nixon and her wife reportedly went in on the purchase with another couple, Bill Bowers and Michael Growler. Growler worked with Nixon as a dresser for both of the Sex and the City movies. Located in a 12-story pre-war building, the two-bedroom apartment can be converted into a three-bedroom unit. Some of the apartment’s features include herringbone wood floors, high ceilings and original beams and moldings. Building amenities include a bike room, a laundry room and a lobby that is decorated with marble and Art Deco details.
