Bundle up and come on out for the 1st annual Winter Carnival at Bank of America Winter Village! Embrace the frosty weather and join us for a celebration of the winter season. This jam-packed weekend will get you out into the elements, try some wintery spins on park favorites, as well as exciting events making their Winter Village debut.
Highlights of the Carnival include:
Frozen Fingers Open Tables: The Tables open for special hours in celebrate Winter Carnival. Test your ping pong skills at one of two state-of-the-art tables. Paddles and balls are provided free of charge. Sign up with an attendant in the park to reserve a time slot.
Ice Golf: We’re putting a wintery twist on a summer park classic. Step on up and try your hand at mini-golf — on ice! If you make a hole-in-one, you win a FastPass for VIP admission to the Rink! Line will form on eastern edge of ice rink. Skates not permitted – shoes only. One hole-in-one attempt per person per day. Do not go through the Skating Pavilion to access this activity. Open Skating will be available on the rest of the Rink as usual.
Frozen Fingers Juggling: Our expert jugglers add to the Carnival atmosphere and are here to teach you how to juggle! Test your coordination and dexterity with a free lesson. All skill levels are welcome to join in the fun. Equipment is provided.
Outdoor Winter Brew House: It’s a Winter Village first! We’re opening up the skate deck for eating and drinking, just like our favorite beer gardens around the world. Eat – Warm comfort foods available for purchase from notable local chefs and restaurants. Names to be announced soon – we promise you won’t be disappointed! Drink – Craft brews and spiked hot drinks for purchase for those 21+. Hot chocolate for purchase for the kids and kids at heart. Sit – Don’t let a little winter chill discourage you – we’ll have beer garden-style seating, festive lighting, and heaters.
Summer Skate Night: Skate like it’s winter, dress like it’s summer! Cowabunga! We’re shrugging off our coats and embracing the winter weather with Winter Village’s first-ever Summer Skate. Throw on a Hawaiian shirt (over your sweater if you must), a straw hat, and sunglasses and join us for a spin around the ice to classic summer tunes from decades past. Costumes strongly encouraged. If you dare… wear your bathing suit! Admission is free, as always! Skate rentals priced as normal.
Kids Silent Disco: This free outdoor dance party will have you shaking off the winter chill while onlookers wonder what the heck you’re doing…because the music can only be heard through headphones! We’ll provide the headphones and a DJ playing kid-friendly pop tunes… you dance like crazy! Kids of all ages and their parents are welcome. Free admission. No pre-registration necessary. Parents must leave an ID, credit card, or something with your name on it for each pair of headphones checked out. Dress for the weather – we’ll be outside! No bag/coat/stroller check available.In the unlikely event that you lose a pair of headphones checked out to you, you will be charged a $35 replacement fee onsite.
