About Marianne C Spraggins

A native New Yorker, Marianne is a multifaceted professional with a rich background in law, investment banking, and real estate. Her experience on Wall Street has equipped her with the skills to identify opportunities, create value, and successfully close transactions for her real estate clients, whether they are anxious sellers, seasoned investors or first-time homebuyers.

Her career in investment banking and law was marked by significant achievements, including being part of the pioneering team at Salomon Brothers that developed the mortgage-backed securities market. Serving as the Chief Marketing Officer of the first Caribbean private equity fund showcased her confidence, determination and ability to communicate a value proposition to potential investors unfamiliar with the region. Having the opportunity to serve as Senior Counsel to the Congressional Oversight Panel that oversaw the U.S. Treasury’s $700 billion bailout program following the 2008 financial crisis provided her with a unique perspective on financial regulation and crisis management. 

She began her career in academia, as an associate professor at New York Law School where she taught Real Property, Trusts and Estates, further solidifying her expertise in legal aspects of real estate.

Today, Marianne leverages her experience and analytical skills to close transactions ranging from straightforward to complex, often requiring serious negotiation. In contrast to the large-scale institutional transactions typical of her previous career, she now enjoys the personal interactions and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on
