NORMA’S HAPPY CLIENTS

  • Kortney H.
“My name is Kortney Holland, and I just wanted to reach out to you to share the delightful apartment hunting experience that my Boyfriend John and I had with Norma Maupins. We had been looking for a new apartment in the Brooklyn area for about 4-5 months and were not getting anywhere far. Realtors were either non responsive, or simply no help at all. We were showed places that did not come close to fitting our needs, and that were ridiculously too small space wise. One early morning on my commute to work, I thought I would give the app "HomeSwipe" another go - though I had no luck in the past. Within an hour from my inquiry submission, I got a call from a Woman about the listing for which I was interested. Just from our conversation, something told me this was the one! John and I arranged to meet up with Norma that weekend. When we woke up that Saturday morning, I just had a gut feeling that we would find our new apartment that day. Norma met us promptly at the agreed meeting time, and showed us two properties - the first for which we fell in love with. She stayed in the area while we went to gather the proper documents required with an application submission, and stayed in touch with me the following week while the Management company made a decision between all applicants. She kept me informed and up to speed with every single thing that was taking place. The day she called me and delivered the great news that we had been accepted, I could tell that she was just as excited for John and I as we were for ourselves. She made us feel like family, from the beginning of this process, even until today. We are actually having our Housewarming this weekend to celebrate with close family and friends, and we invited Norma. I don’t know how many people typically invite their Realtor over to celebrate their new home.. but we would have it no other way. We have heard true horror stories about working with some Realtors.. and ours is the complete opposite. We are forever thankful for Norma, and the care and passion she put into our search. She even got us a small gift for our new place on the day of our lease signing. She is highly recommended by both John and I.”

“In the ever-intimidating world of NYC real estate, I was met by the friendly face of Norma Maupins. I was looking for an apartment on short notice, and despite the lack of notice, she was more than happy to greet us, show the apartment, and take all our questions with great patience and courtesy. She assisted us throughout the apartment application and approval process as if she were not only our agent, but our friend. Working with Norma was a pleasure, and I highly recommend her services to anyone looking to bypass the intimidation with which NYC real estate sometimes comes. ”
