Bring Your Pooch to BarkFest 2015 on July 19!

Attention, dog owners: Mark your calendars for BarkFest 2015, the world’s biggest dog pawty!

BarkFest 2015 is taking over the Brooklyn waterfront at 50 Kent in Williamsburg for a day jam-packed with activities for parents and their pups. You can expect a splash zone, agility courses, food trucks, a beer garden, celebrity dogs Menswear Dog, Marnie The Dog, and the first ever dog-friendly fireworks. If your pup is more than a pet, you don’t want to miss BarkFest. This event is free and open to the public, and all ages, and pooches, are welcome.

BarkFest begins at 2 p.m. on July 19, and features a ton of activities for you and your pup, including a splash zone where you can beat the heat; an activity course for running, jumping, and crawling; a “farts and crafts” station; the opportunity to play with adoptable dogs from the Foster Dogs NYC; a chance to pose with your pooch in a GIF booth; a hot dog contest to test the tummy of hungry pups; food trucks for humans; a relaxation zone; an activity mat by Kruuse where you can test your pup’s smarts; the chance to have your portrait drawn by one of NYC’s best caricature artits; and dog tattoos, courtesy of Tattly.

And, of course, BarkFest wouldn’t be the world’s biggest dog pawty without the world’s most well-known dogs! You’ll find them in the Celebridog Zone at the ‘Fest. Line up early to snap a selfie with these pups, including the famous Menswear Dog and Marnie the Dog, one of the all-time biggest canine celebrities. There will also be an hourly raffle all BarkFest long to raise money for Foster Dogs NYC. Raffle items include a Bark & Co Swag package, a $50 SweetGreen gift card, Benefite Cosmetics makeup package, a one-year subscription to Blue Apron, a Madewell leather tote; and more. Purchase a raffle ticket in the hour before the given prize to be elegible for that item. Each ticket is $1 and can be purchased in the BarkShop tent.
