Bloody Valentine’s Day Weekend: If being scared out of your wits is your thing, why not spend Valentine’s Day in the scariest place in NYC? Blood Manor is a first class haunted house attraction comprised of approximately 5,000 square feet of themed rooms, corridors, and a labyrinth of passageways designed to maximize one’s fears. Bloody Valentine’s Weekend will be held on February 13 & 14, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Valentine’s Day Wine Tasting Party: If you love wine and socializing then let NYSN be your Valentine for this great night out at The World Bar, where the focus is on introducing you to some great wines and other fun people! Forget those cheesy Anti-Valentine’s Day Parties around town. NYSN has teamed up with several social networking groups to bring you a fantastic wine tasting event for people who love wine and those who know nothing about it! It is a fun way to spend a Saturday evening in a classy yet casual atmosphere. The wine will be free flowing and you can fill your glass as many times as you would like if you love a particular one! The night will feature a dozen top notch wines selected by The World Bar/Madison & Vine Wine Bar wine experts for you to sample with descriptions of each; delicious hot and cold appetizers; and NYSN staff to welcome you and introduce you to others in the group. The bar will remain open for invited guests and wine tasting participants until midnight. February 14, 7:30 p.m.
Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt: Calling all couples! Tired of the same dinner and movies date? Try something fun this Valentine’s day. Uncover all of the most romantic spots in NYC while having a fun, interactive experience with the Amazing New York Scaventer Hunt – part hunt, part obstacle course and all New York. A series of clues leads you around the city performing physical and mental challenges along the way. You can sign up as a team or as an individual and we will partner you with a team. Each member of the winning team receives a New York City gift package. The hunt takes three hours. Please wear comfortable shoes. One member of the team should have a smart phone (either Android or I-Phone). The hunt is run through an app called ScanQuest. Please download that before you come to the event. February 14, 1:30 – 5:30 p.m. $25 per person.
Valentine’s Day Tango Workshop: Looking for something to do on Valentine’s Day with your loved one? Why not come to Triangulo for a special Valentine treat? A beginner lesson, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries are included in this special night at our intimate studio. Family Valentine’s Day Party: Join DJ’s Nubby & Bubby and your host Mr.Blue at Little Club Heads as they get the party started for Valentine’s Day! Be prepared for lots of dancing, face painting, balloon twisting, live shows, games, crafts, and so much family fun! Little Club Heads is a family dance party where top 100 dance records are played and the dance floor is always rocking! February 14, noon – 3 p.m. $15, plus online ticket fee.
