Get Ready for the Brooklyn Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival on November 14

Brooklyn Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival is back this November! On November 14, New York Wine Events is transforming Industry City into an East Coast Napa Valley. Attendees will get the chance to sample a curated selection of over 200 wines, complemented by artisanal fare and hors d’oeuvres sourced straight from Brooklyn, and beyond. All attendees will also receive a beautiful, custom wine glass to use for sampling, and to take home.

After a diligent search process, event organizers have chosen four unique vendors to be a part of the inaugural Supper Section at Brooklyn Crush. Enjoy selections from two acclaimed Brooklyn restaurants, plus a whole-animal Brooklyn salumeria and a Brooklyn-based authentic Philadelphia roast pork sandwich shop. The Supper Section will allow Brooklyn Crush attendees to purchase full-sized portions of authentic Brooklyn fare, as a complement to the included samples of wine, sweets, cheeses, meats and more. Supper Section dishes are not included in the ticket price. Separate purchase is required. Enjoy light accompaniments from our superb in-house caterer including cheese, crackers and bread selections, crudite and more.

Artisanal food tables will be placed throughout the event space featuring the very best fare from Brooklyn and beyond. You can enjoy chocolates, ethnic foods, jams, dips. vegan delights, cakes, cookies, cheese, nuts, seasonal specialties, beverages, and much more.  All participating artisanal food companies will be sampling their offerings — plus, if you have a hankering for their fabulous flavors, many will also be selling items to take home to enjoy later.

Vintry Fine Wines will be programming an eclectic mix of selections, including over 200 bold reds, awesome whites, and some sparkling selections. Find grape varietals from New and Old World wine regions around the globe, including the United States, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, South America, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and more.

Brooklyn Crush attendees will be treated to the soulful sounds of The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn. The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn are an early jazz, swing, and blues band, composed of acoustic guitar/vocals, upright bass, homemade washboard percussion, trumpet and saxophone. Their repertoire of witty songs from the 1920s and 30s, New Orleans and Dixieland, classic Blues, R&B, and Western Swing is augmented by original tunes with moving yet often bawdy lyrics and catchy four-part vocal harmony.

Brooklyn Crush takes place at Industry City, the 21st century innovation and manufacturing district that is situated on the waterfront in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The complex was developed by Irving T. Bush as Brooklyn’s first major industrial, shipping and distribution center, and was so successful that it helped to spur the economic and industrial development of the entire borough. Industry City is within walking distance of the D, N and R MTA subway station at 36th Street. Convenient parking is one block west of the building.
