Amy Schumer Finds Buyer for Upper West Side Apartment

After spending a year on the market, Amy Schumer’s Upper West Side penthouse finally has a buyer. While the buyer and the final sales price are still unknown, the 850-square-foot penthouse apartment reportedly went into contract at an asking price of $1.625 million.  Schumer purchased the property, which takes up the top floor of a 20-foot-wide, turn-of-the-20th-century brownstone, in 2014 for $1.695 million. Located a half block west of the American Museum of Natural History, the home features two wood-burning fireplaces framed by carved mantles, a master bathroom with a claw-foot tub, built-in bookshelves, an interior staircase and several skylights. The property was originally listed in November 2015 for $2.075 million. After failing to sell, it was relisted this September for $1.625 million. According to reports, the actress has purchased a $12.147 million, 4,500-square-foot, glass-walled duplex penthouse elsewhere on the Upper West Side.

Louis C.K. Purchases Two-Bedroom Home in Greenwich Village

Louis C.K. has spent $2.45 million on a two-bedroom co-op just west of Sixth Avenue. This comes after the comedian purchased an apartment in a West Village townhouse for $564,900 in January, making it the third apartment in the townhouse within his real estate portfolio. Louis also purchased a Shelter Island cottage once owned by Babe Ruth for $2.44 million. The new co-op reportedly features an office with a built-in desk, an updated kitchen, a spacious laundry room and two large bedrooms.

Adriana Lima Lists Midtown Condo for $5.5 Million

Victoria’s Secret supermodel Adriana Lima has placed her Midtown condo on the market for the second time. Originally listed for $4.85 million in 2013, Lima has is now seeking $5.5 million for the property. Lima originally purchased the property along with her former husband, retired NBA player Marko Jaric, in 2003 for $1.995 million. Located at Metropolitan Tower on West 57th Street, the 2,200-square-foot condo features two-and-a-half bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows with views of Central Park, a chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry and a den that can be converted into a third bedroom. The building boasts a 40-foot swimming pool, a renovated fitness center, parking, massage therapy and a restaurant that is open to residents only.

Ivanka Trump Places Park Avenue Apartment on Market for $4.1 Million

The daughter of President Elect Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, has placed her Manhattan apartment on the market. Located in Trump Park Avenue on Park and 59th Street, the apartment has been listed for $4.1 million. Ivanka reportedly purchased the apartment in 2004 for just over $1 million. While Ivanka is trying to sell this particular apartment, she and her husband Jared Kushner still own a four-bedroom penthouse in the same building. The couple is reportedly looking at real estate in D.C. with one of the Puck Penthouses, which was developed by Kushner, being under consideration.
